Went down to the crossroads, got down on my knees.

Sadly, this is not a post discussing Eric Clapton’s summer US tour. Because even though he played at two locations near me, I did not get a chance to attend.

I did, however, get my hands on a copy of the “Crossroads” Eric Clapton boxed set (released 1988) about a week ago. I have since listened to all of my favorite Clapton blues collaborations and solo hits about 30 times over. I’m still exploring the CDs, but I have already discovered some real gems in there. Here are some songs that I can’t stop listening to: some big hits, some lesser known. all fantastic.
